Sales Manager – Drug Discovery Assays

New York or Connecticut

Are you interested in a career in sales and looking to work for world renowned company where you can grow your career? VRS is currently searching for a Technical Sales Representative to sell into the field of Drug Discovery and High Throughput Screening (HTS).

Primary Responsibilities

  • Management of multi-million dollar territory
  • Identify new business opportunities in Life Science/Pharma accounts within the tri-state area
  • Assist customers with technical/product support for reagents and consumables
  • Liaise with marketing, product development and internal scientists to provide customer feedback

Candidate Qualifications

  • Minimum of BS in Physical or Life Sciences
  • Hands-on lab experience, ideally in the field of drug discovery (ELISA and Immunoassay a plus!)
  • Must be customer-focused, self-motivated, and driven to reach and exceed sales goals
  • Looking for personable scientists with the desire to speak with other scientists about new and exciting products in the field of Life Science


  • Base $90-100K annual + uncapped commission + excellent benefits (total package over $140K at plan!)
  • Includes paid travel expenses
  • Position is HOME-BASED with no overnight travel!
