Technical Sales Rep – Life Science Automation

Are you interested in a career in sales and looking to work for world renowned company where you can grow your career? VRS is currently searching for a Technical Sales Representative to sell into the field of Drug Discovery and High Throughput Screening (HTS).
Primary Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate business opportunities within pharma / biotech / academic accounts
- Understand customer needs and ensure they understand how our client’s portfolio of products would benefit them
- Assist customers with technical/product support for high throughput instrumentation
- Liaise with marketing, product development and internal scientists to provide customer feedback for development of new products
Candidate Qualifications
- Minimum of BS in Physical or Life Sciences
- Hands-on lab experience, ideally in the field of Drug Discovery / Assay Development
- Must be customer-focused, self-motivated, and driven to reach and exceed sales goals
- Looking for personable scientists with the desire to speak with other scientists about new and exciting products in the field of Life Science
Salary:
- Base $90-100K annual + uncapped commission ($140K+ at plan!)
- Includes paid travel expenses
- Position is HOME-BASED
