Scientific Sales – Proteomics Solutions (LC/MS)
MI, MN, ND, SD, WI, Ontario, Manitoba, and Quebec
Unique opportunity for an established Sales Rep or customer facing Scientist selling into Pharma/Biopharma, Clinical, and Academic markets. You will promote the sale of high throughput front-end solutions (capital equipment & consumables) for LC/MS Proteomics. Primary Responsibilities
- Manage existing accounts and serve as a technical SME for Proteomics related products
- Establish and develop relationships with new customers in Drug Discovery, Clinical Proteomics, and University Core Labs
- Keep current on Life Science / Omics trends and stay involved in the local mass spec community
- Territory focuses on Midwest States, Plain States and Canada (East of Alberta) including: Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Saskatchewan, Nunavut, Manitoba, Ontario, and Quebec with travel around 40%
Candidate Qualifications
- Minimum of BS in Chemistry, Biology, or related field
- Prior sales experience OR experience liaising with customers
- Dynamic personality with the ability to work comfortably throughout the sales process, especially hunting down new accounts
- Background in Proteomics and/or LC/MS is desired
