Sales Manager – IVD Assay Kits (LC/MS)

VRS is currently seeking a Business Development Manager in the Mid-Western states selling directly to companies that develop diagnostic test kits; companies such as Abbott and Beckman.

Our client manufactures and sells custom controls and materials for a wide variety of molecular diagnostic kits where the focus is infectious diseases. Their ideal candidate has a background in life science (BS minimum) and molecular diagnostic testing, with exposure to the sales process or direct experience selling in this market. He or she should understand what is required to develop a diagnostic test and the current major players in this area.

They will be responsible for maintaining key accounts and working closely with customers, frequently customizing new product solutions for their diagnostic test kits. Most of these accounts will be based in the Mid-West, but at least 75% travel is required. The compensation includes a base salary of $85-100k annually + 50k at plan, with a competitive benefits package. If this sounds like a good fit and you’d like to know more, please….
