Regional Sales Manager – Scientific Instrumentation

Houston, TX

Regional sales management role with an internationally recognized provider of scientific instrumentation.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage and motivate a small team of Technical Sales Reps and Application Engineers who promote the sale of laboratory instrumentation through the Southeastern US
  • Collaborate with Marketing to devise and implement sales strategies and continue growth of the business
  • Manage travel and expense budgets
  • Work directly with customers as needed to ensure the buying journey is as positive as possible

Candidate Qualifications

  • Proven CapEx sales track record
  • 2+ years of experience managing direct reports
  • Knowledge of scientific instrumentation used for physical, chemical, and structural measurements within a variety of applied markets (e.g., oil & gas, environmental, pharmaceutical, biotech, and academia)
  • Ability to travel around 30 – 50% throughout the Southeastern US
