Account Manager – Informatics

Greater Boston

Exciting opportunity to aid in the sales process of scientific software solutions used in the Analytical Chemistry space.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Champion scientific software used in life science and chemistry R&D, specifically data processing for chromatography, mass spectrometry, and spectroscopy instrumentation
  • Grow and manage existing accounts
  • Prospect and generate leads by attending meetings and trade shows, using centralized CRM system, and perform market research
  • Communicate internally with outside sales, inside sales, marketing, and other colleagues

Candidate Qualifications

  • Minimum of a BS degree (ideally Chemistry or related)
  • 1 – 3 years of technical sales or sales support experience, ideally in informatics and/or chemistry
  • Proactive personality and excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the US and internationally


  • $70-80K base salary + commission
