Looking to break into Field Service Engineering within the scientific instrumentation industry?
We’re supporting an established laboratory technology company that is expanding its US service team and hiring multiple Field Service Engineers across the country. Previous field service experience is welcome, but these opportunities could also suit candidates from a laboratory, engineering, technical or scientific background looking to move into their first FSE position.
These are home-based, customer-facing positions with regular travel. Engineers have plenty of autonomy and flexibility to manage their own schedules.
Primary Responsibilities
- Installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation
- Provide customer training and technical support
- Hands-on problem solving and equipment troubleshooting
Candidate Qualifications
- Science or Engineering background – Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred
- Strong practical / hands-on skills with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability
- Eager, coachable and able to think independently
- Willing and able to travel >80%
Salary:
- $70–80K base salary + bonus + $550–650/month car allowance
