R&D Engineer – PCB / Circuit Design

Greater San Jose – HYBRID role

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work in collaboration with research scientists and engineers to design and test new components and instrumentation related to separations and mass spectrometry
  • Extensive work with PCB design and integrated circuit (IC) boards
  • Design of experiments for testing new instrument hardware and specifications

Candidate Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelors or Master’s Degree
  • 5+ years in industry related to instrument R&D
  • Experience working with ADC, FPGA, & PCB design for instrument control
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a HIGHLY collaborative team


  • $120-180K base salary (or more!) depending on experience
