Clinical Microbiology – Technical Specialist

United States (remote)

Fantastic opportunity to promote a new-to-market scientific instrument with applications in infection control and epidemiology.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Create a strategy for new business development and value proposition to promote company products into the clinical marketplace
  • Serve as a technical expert/scientific liaison in presentations and conversations with KOLs in public health, epidemiology, infectious disease control, veterinary sciences, and food safety
  • Visit client sites with the commercial team to establish product interest and provide technical support throughout the sales cycle
  • Lead data management efforts for the team

Candidate Qualifications

  • Minimum of PhD in microbiology, immunology, or a related field
  • Commercial acumen – industry experience preferred but not essential
  • Expertise with data analytics and data management
  • Passionate and enthusiastic attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility to travel throughout the Americas as needed (up to ~70%)
  • Multilingualism (especially Spanish, Portuguese, and/or French) is a plus
